The other day Aaron and I were at the grocery store. He saw some doughnuts and asked if he could get them. I said "No, Sweetie. They are not on our list". A few minutes later he asked if he could see the list. He looked at it, scribbled on it and said "There! Now doughnuts are on the list!"
It was a good try, and it made me laugh, but he still didn't get the doughnuts!

Yellow Coats?
Aaron and I were riding down the road when he said "Mommy, what are those yellow coats you were talking about?" I was extremely puzzled about what he meant, so I asked "Yellow coats? When was I talking about yellow coats?" He then replied "You know, those kind of wasps, yellow coats!"
Imagine how difficult is was for me not to laugh as I explained that they are called "yellow jackets, not yellow coats".

A Child's Prayer
The other day Aaron was saying the blessing before he ate. He said his standard "Thank you, Jesus for my food. Amen".
Then, a few minutes later I heard him say "Dear God, Can you please bring Easter back? Because I want to dye my hair blue!"

All Grown Up!
Aaron is sleeping in a "big boy bed" now! I guess he's not a baby anymore! :(
He's very proud of himself, but it makes Mommy want to cry!

Monster!
The other day Aaron got his haircut. When the hairdresser asked him what his name was, he replied "Monster!" James said to him "Tell her the name that Mommy and Daddy chose for you". He replied "Monster Alexander Garris!" :)

See My Abs?
So, we are sitting in a restaurant for lunch today and all of a sudden, Aaron lifts up his shirt and asks "See my abs?"
Where does he get this stuff?
