My dad loves to fish. When Aaron was born he brought him a fishing pole and tackle box to the hospital! This weekend was our first opportunity to go fishing with Paw Paw Mark. The weather was perfect (75 degrees!) So, off we went to the fishing hole!
Paw Paw Mark showed Aaron how to bait the hook. He showed him how to cast the line. Then, he taught him the most important part about fishing...the WAITING. Aaron stood patiently with his pole for a little while. Then, he pulled his line in because he wanted to recast. He waited some more. Then, he pulled the line in again. He waited some more. Then, he went off in search of geese! :)
We didn't catch anything on Aaron's first fishing trip. But, we had a great time trying!
