There are so many different choices within the waterpark itself. We were surpised that Aaron kept returning to the wave pool! He wanted to spend all his time there!

When you first enter the waterpark, the children are all measured. They are then given a wristband to indicate which slides they are tall enough to ride. Aaron was tall enough to ride all but one, as long as he was with James or me.

Great Wolf Lodge!

Our Christmas present to Aaron was a trip to the "Great Wolf Lodge". It is a resort with an indoor water park inside it. For weeks leading up to our visit, Aaron and I would sing "Going to the Lodge. Going to the Lodge." (the song they had on their commercials). By the time we arrived, the Bug was about to burst with excitement!

Christmas Cookies at Preschool

Aaron's preschool class made Christmas cookies one day. Try to imagine 13 preschoolers set loose with cookie dough and sprinkles! It was a lot of fun, and actually not as crazy as I expected it would be!
What was in those cookies?

Gingerbread House

Aaron and the finished product!
Proud "homeowner"!
One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making gingerbread houses at the church. As you can see, it it quite a unique (and messy) experience!

Santa!

Aaron went to visit Santa with his cousin, Lindsey. Her mom was nervous that Lindsey would cry, but as you can see, she did really well!

Church Christmas Program

Aaron does not like singing in front of people. So, it took some major bribing to get him up on the stage for the Christmas musical at church! Once up there, he sang all the verses of "I Saw Three Ships" in a loud, clear voice. I was a very proud Mommy!
Look at how nervous he is!
Don't be fooled by that little angel face!

Oh Christmas Tree! (Yes, I know it's January)

Pneumonia!

Aaron has always been a fairly healthy child. In fact, he never even had to go to the doctor's for a sick visit until after he turned 3! So, this year has been quite a shock to us! In October, he had bronchitis. Then, on the Friday night after Thanksgiving, he woke me up every 1 to 2 hours crying that he did not feel well. I laid down with him at about 6:00 that morning and noticed that his breathing was very rapid! As soon as James got home from work, we took him to the doctor. The doctor gave him 2 breathing treatments there in the office, diagnosed him with pneumonia and sent us home with a nebulizer (or "dragon treatment" as we called it!) Poor little guy!

1st College Basketball Game

On "Black Friday" I took Aaron (along with his 5 friends, "The Hardison Girls) to his first college basketball game. Luckily, it was "canned food night" and the price of admission was 2 cans of food for the food bank. I say "luckily" because he got bored pretty quick! Here he is with Autumn who he swears he is going to marry some day!

Thanksgiving with Lindsey

This was our first Thanksgiving with Aaron's new cousin, Lindsey!
Lindsey loves her Auntie Monica!

Aaron enjoyed holding Lindsey for a very brief moment. Then, he passed her back to me. The guy on the couch with us is Lindsey's dad, my brother, Kevin.

My Little Indian

Little Indian!
Thanking the Lord for the food!
Aaron's preschool had a full Thanksgiving feast! They got to choose whether they wanted to be pilgrims or indians. Then, they got to decorate their own costume. Everyone wore their costume to the feast and enjoyed turkey and all the trimmings!
