The Bats and the Bees!

We always tell Aaron how much we prayed to have him and that he was a gift from God to us. Keep that in mind as you read the following conversation that occured as we were driving down the road the other day.

Aaron: Mommy! When I grow up I want to be a bat!

Me: Well, son, that is quite a lofty goal!

Aaron: Mommy, do bats pray?

Me: No, sweetie...I don't think bats pray. People are the only ones of God's creatures that pray.

Aaron: Well, then how do bats get their babies?!

Me: (laughing) Well...when a mommy bat and a daddy bat love each other, they have babies...

Aaron: But HOW do they get them? How, Mommy?

Me: (frantically dialing the cell phone) Umm...ummm...Let's ask your father! Hey! Is that a bird over there?

See Ya Real Soon!

This is it for our adventures at Disney! It was a great family vacation!

Aaron's Disney Treasures!

Aaron's great grandmother gave him some spending money for the trip. She requested that we take a picture of him with everything he bought. So, here it all is. His pal, Cub, is wearing the sombrero he bought. He also bought some candy, a "Buzz Lightyear Laser Gun" keychain, a Mickey Mouse Lightsaber, a "Safari Mickey" a fan/mister, and a Mickey balloon! He had a great time shopping and picking out just what he wanted!

More Dinosaurs (and a Very Large Jellyfish)!

How would you like to meet up with that jellyfish?

I think Aaron was a little bit nervous about the dinosaurs, even though he knew they were not real!
All in all, we had a great visit to the T-Rex Cafe!

Ice Cave

While at the T-Rex Cafe we ate in the "Ice Cave". It was really cool!!!

The T-Rex Bones at the T-Rex Cafe!

Aaron was a little bit nervous at first!

T-Rex Cafe

Our last big "hurrah" in Orlando was to visit the "T-Rex Cafe"! It was an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere was just unreal!

Rainforest Cafe

Aaron at the Rainforest Cafe!

That elephant snuck right up behind us!

Tee hee hee!

While in Orlando we were able to meet some friends for dinner. Aaron really wanted to go to the Rainforest Cafe, so that is where we went! We had a fabulous time!

Downtown Disney

One of the new things that has been added since I was last at Disney is "Downtown Disney". It is a place full of fun shops and restaurants. We spent a little bit of time there, but not as much as I would have liked! :)

Tiger Tiger Burning Bright...

While at Animal Kingdom Aaron bought a "Safari Mickey". As we entered the tiger area he said "Mickey is scared because tigers are cats and he is a mouse!"

More Animal Kingdom Fun!

Aaron really enjoyed the train ride and the petting zoo at Animal Kingdom.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

While we had good time at Animal Kingdom, it was not our favorite Disney park. We had been warned that it is more like a big zoo than a theme park, and that was correct. It involved a lot of walking to see a few animals. We did enjoy the safari ride and seeing the komodo dragons and tigers.

Animal Kingdom

Aaron starts the day out with enthusiasm and energy as we visit Disney's Animal Kingdom!
