Birthday Plans

Today we were in the grocery store and Aaron was picking out the candy he wants for his pinata for his birthday, which is in January! He got really upset with me that I wouldn't buy the candy for his January party on May 30! Aren't I the meanest Mom ever?

Yet Another Question...

What is it with little boys and light sabers? Aaron has never even seen "Star Wars", but he sure loves a light saber!

A Day in the Life of...

Today Aaron and I went to Chik-fil-A to play. (Well, he played. I read a book!) Anyway, when it was time to go, I went into the playspace to get him. He came straight to me, put on his shoes and walked out! I couldn't believe it! I had my boxing gloves on ready to spar and he did what I asked the very first time! I think I had a minor heart attack.

Strawberry Jelly

James and Aaron took some of the strawberries and made strawberry jelly! YUMMY!

A Family Trip to the Strawberry Patch

The other day we went to a local strawberry patch. We got to pick our own strawberries. It was a lot of fun!

Recent Visit to the Dentist

Bug recently went on a visit to the dentist. They gave him sunglasses to wear so nothing would splatter up into his eyes. He did great and "No cavities!"

Last Day of School

Here are some pictures of Aaron's last day of "2 day" preschool. Doesn't he look holy in that one?

Aaron's Girl

Angelica is Aaron's girl. I always say that he would follow her to the ends of the earth if she asked. Now I know he will at least follow her up a tree!

Angelica is 8 years older than Aaron, so my "fear" is that in a few years she's going to start dating guys her own age and leave my baby heartbroken. What 15 year old is going to pal around with a 7 year old? (And who would expect her to?)

For now though, I enjoy watching the unique and special relationship they share!

Aaron and His Daddy

Last night at the "Bedtime Story Hour" the librarian said something about the moms getting up and dancing. Then, she said "You dads can do it to!" Aaron (very loudly) said "My daddy is not here! He's at home washing the dishes!" All the parents there started laughing! It was pretty funny!

Bedtime Story Hour

Last night we went to "Bedtime Story Hour" at our local library. The kids wore their pajamas and the children's librarian told "Bedtime Stories". Then, they had milk and cookies for a "bedtime snack". It was a lot of fun!
