Ice Skating

I recently took Aaron and James ice skating for the very first time. I had fun, but the boys...that was a completely different story! Aaron was very excited until the moment we hit the ice. After that, all he did was wimper is way around the rink. At one point in time he even wailed "I'm going to die and I can't remember the name of my fish!" I do not think we will be going ice skating again any time soon!

Happy Halloween!

Aaron chose to be "Frankenstein" for Halloween this year. Everyone kept saying how cute he was, but he honestly thought he was scary! It was so funny!

A Trip to the Farm

Picking the perfect pumpkin!
Who knew that Aaron was such a good little farmer?

Each year, Aaron's preschool class takes a trip to a local farm. He had a great time seeing all the animals, finding his way through the millet maze, riding on the hayride, and picking out a pumpkin!

Cakenstein!

Aaron wanted to make a special cake for our church fall festival.
I present to you..."Cakenstein!"
Aaron worked hard to decorate "Cakenstein" just right!

Cub is Ready for Christmas!

Aaron loves his stuffed polar bear, "Cub". We found this outfit at the Dollar Tree and thought she would like to dress up for Christmas.

All I Want For Christmas...

Aaron still has "accidents" in the night if he has had too much to drink. So, we also take him to the bathroom right before we go to bed. Well, the other night I got him up to go and he was still mostly asleep. As he was going, he started singing "All I Want For Christmas..." I expected him to say "my two front teeth". Instead, he said in his very sleepy voice "All I want for Christmas is...a slinky dog!" Ha!

Aunt Alicia and Sweet Baby Lindsey
It's amazing what Aaron can get his Nana to do!
Lindsey and I are a great pair!
Nana and her grandchildren that live within driving distance!

We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo!

Here we are riding the tram.
Aaron loves his little cousin, Lindsey! Check out her zebra pants!
In October, we went to the zoo with Aaron's cousin, Lindsey, his Aunt Alicia and his Nana. We had a great time, but our progress was very slow! We saw a few animals, maybe half of them?

Aaron wanted a huge pumpkin for Halloween!
Aaron loved his pumpkin!
Aaron took this picture of his daddy carving the pumpkin. I thought he did a really good job!

Johnny Appleseed

Aaron had Johnny Appleseed Day at preschool. They wore pots on their heads!

The Bats and the Bees!

We always tell Aaron how much we prayed to have him and that he was a gift from God to us. Keep that in mind as you read the following conversation that occured as we were driving down the road the other day.

Aaron: Mommy! When I grow up I want to be a bat!

Me: Well, son, that is quite a lofty goal!

Aaron: Mommy, do bats pray?

Me: No, sweetie...I don't think bats pray. People are the only ones of God's creatures that pray.

Aaron: Well, then how do bats get their babies?!

Me: (laughing) Well...when a mommy bat and a daddy bat love each other, they have babies...

Aaron: But HOW do they get them? How, Mommy?

Me: (frantically dialing the cell phone) Umm...ummm...Let's ask your father! Hey! Is that a bird over there?

Aaron and Lindsey

Aaron only has one cousin that lives on this continent and that is Baby Lindsey!

Aunties Rock, Too!

See Ya Real Soon!

This is it for our adventures at Disney! It was a great family vacation!

Aaron's Disney Treasures!

Aaron's great grandmother gave him some spending money for the trip. She requested that we take a picture of him with everything he bought. So, here it all is. His pal, Cub, is wearing the sombrero he bought. He also bought some candy, a "Buzz Lightyear Laser Gun" keychain, a Mickey Mouse Lightsaber, a "Safari Mickey" a fan/mister, and a Mickey balloon! He had a great time shopping and picking out just what he wanted!

More Dinosaurs (and a Very Large Jellyfish)!

How would you like to meet up with that jellyfish?

I think Aaron was a little bit nervous about the dinosaurs, even though he knew they were not real!
All in all, we had a great visit to the T-Rex Cafe!

Ice Cave

While at the T-Rex Cafe we ate in the "Ice Cave". It was really cool!!!

The T-Rex Bones at the T-Rex Cafe!

Aaron was a little bit nervous at first!

T-Rex Cafe

Our last big "hurrah" in Orlando was to visit the "T-Rex Cafe"! It was an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere was just unreal!

Aaron at the Rainforest Cafe!

That elephant snuck right up behind us!

Tee hee hee!

While in Orlando we were able to meet some friends for dinner. Aaron really wanted to go to the Rainforest Cafe, so that is where we went! We had a fabulous time!
