Trade Ya!

I had to go have some repairs on my car today. Aaron and I took the opportunity to browse the "pre-owned" car section of the Toyota dealership. There was a gorgeous blue Mitsubishi Outlander that we both really liked. Aaron said "Let's by this one, Mommy!" and I said "I think it is a little too expensive for us. How are we going to pay for it?" He replied "You, Mommy!" and I said "You want me to pay for it?" He said "No! We are going to pay for it with you!" That little stinker was going to trade me for a Mitsubishi Outlander!

What A Wonderful World

The other day we were riding down the road and Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" came on the radio. I really love that song, so I turned up the radio and was singing along. Then from the backseat I hear this sweet little voice say "I want to live in that wonderful world he is talking about!" Let me tell you, my mommy's heart just swell up with joy! It was so sweet!

Chuck E. Cheese!

Aaron recently got to visit Chuck E. Cheese with his cousin, Chase. They had a great time riding rides, playing games and eating pizza!

Aaron's Ark

One morning Aaron was in the other room playing in one of my Southern Living boxes. As he piled stuffed animals in the box, I really wasn't paying him much attention. Then, I heard him say "Yes? Lord?" "Bigger? Lord?" and then "40 days and 40 nights" and I realized he was "building an ark"! It really tickled me to listen to him build his ark. He was having such a good time doing it.

Here's a picture of us reading in the "ark".

Outrigger Island

Aaron attended Vacation Bible School at a local church last week. The theme was "Outrigger Island" and they served snow cones for snack the first night, so he was happy. He is getting so big and independent! On the first night he told me to "go away, Mom!" and not walk around with his class. :(

So, I went away, but spied on his class! Ha!
